The best timber to use would be teak, however due to new government legislation we can no longer obtain teak at the moment, there are other options that we provide to create a stunning product such as Iroko & Oak.

Before your bench leaves our factory we ensure that it is treated before hand, depending on the conditions of where the bench will be stored that will determine how long it can go before being treated again.

For Teak & Iroko we recommend that you use Tung oil.

For Oak would recommend you use a special sealer.

Depending on where its stored it can range from anywhere to 12 months – 2 years before you need to start treatment as we apply it before any product has left the factory.

We can provide an L Bracket to secure your bench in place, and we also have additional solutions for holding our products in place on grass.
